Well, here is your answer!!
It is now available for pre-order with Worldwide shipping through the manufacturers website!
Now what does this device do again? It concerts your Apple Ipod Touch into a phone!

"Requirements?
The Apple Peel 520 requires a Jailbroken iPod Touch 1st, 2nd or 3rd to make the SMS and Call app work. Any firmware above 3.0 is supported. The iPod Touch 4th generation is not yet supported since there is no Jailbreak for iOS 4.1 available at the moment. It will be very likely that the iPod Touch 4th generation will be supported as soon as iOS 4.1 gets Jailbroken.
Oh, off course you will also need a working SIM card"
The Good news is, they will have it also for the Itouch 4thgen once the JB is out!
Frankly, I think apply should be thankful, this will boost the price of their Ipod touch devices and I am sure this will not affect the current sales of the Iphone 4 because the peel will allow Apple to cater to a lower market segment.

just go for a factory unlocked iphone not just a wanna be.
apple update firmwares from time to time and i don't think this will work in next update.
